Bloomfield Patch: How To Share Events, Classifieds, News

Want to understand how exactly to submit news tips or share a local event/classified on Patch Bloomfield? It's easier than you think!

At Patch, we think that local news and information have the power to unite a residential area. We also have confidence in giving neighbors the power to tell their own stories and help keep each other informed about what's happening at the neighborhood level.

There are a few various ways to reach out.

News tips and press releases can be sent to your neighborhood Patch editor. Tips/releases for Bloomfield, NJ can be delivered to eric.kiefer@patch.com.
Including small attachments is okay, but PLEASE include all important information directly in the body of one's email (so it could be easily "cut and pasted").
Include a single, high-quality photo or image (preferred format is really a .jpg). Tell us who we have to credit for the photo (you need to own the rights or have permission to use it for a news article).
Because of high volumes of submissions, it's not always possible to create all releases or respond individually ? but we try our best!
